Brad Jones: Unlimited Good Pictures

“Time is an important factor, so allow some space. If you still like a picture six months after you took it, then you know it’s a good picture.” Why wait? Brad explains that it’s easy to get excited about a photo simply because you know the backstory. Maybe there was music in the background, maybe getting the shot was extra challenging for whatever reason, maybe you have sentimental ties to a place. The point is, no matter how great the backstory is, the viewer can’t see that, nor do they care. Brad says you have to get past those feelings and realize that “if a picture doesn’t work, it just doesn’t work.”
